Committee membership is open to any member and members are encouraged to serve. All committees are subject to the oversight and authority of the PFFPOA Board of Directors.
Architectural Control
In order to enhance and protect the value, desirability and attractiveness of our community, all four neighborhoods on our mountain (Pisgah Forest Farms, Pisgah Forest Estates, Forest Park and The Pinnacle) have covenants that restrict the use of the land. The Architectural Control Committee reviews the plans for all construction to ensure compliance with these covenants.
Audit
The Audit Committee reviews the association’s books every year prior to the annual meeting, held the first Saturday in December. Approval of the Audit Committee is required for any expenditures in excess of the previously approved annual budget.
Beautification
The Beautification Committee plants and maintains the welcome garden at the Hart Road entrance.
Firewise
PFFPOA is a Firewise Community. To save lives and property from wildfire, Firewise teaches people in forested areas how to adapt to wildfire threats and encourages neighbors to work together to prevent losses. The Firewise Committee manages the Firewise Program.
Insurance
The PFFPOA is insured against liability and other common property owner association legal issues. The Insurance Committee obtains and reviews coverage proposals and makes recommendations to The Board of Directors.
Roads
The Roads Committee plans and directs maintence on our 5 miles of roads.
